Looking at the fabric of our existing urban spaces through the lens of air rights can be incredibly positive. Rooftop schemes provide upgrades and improvements to older building stock, unify the appearance of areas, and providing additional housing in areas that have capacity.
The architectural map of London is enormously varied, reflecting the huge evolution of the capital over the past millennium. Viewed from afar, options for significant development on that map appear few and far between. Zoom in, however, and the existing environment offers a multi-tiered landscape ripe with opportunity.
