Public Consultation: The Fulham Boys School
A mixed use development in the centre of Fulham to create a new secondary school, leisure facility, police station and residential units.
Architecture Initiative recently held a public consultation in Fulham to present the proposed scheme to the local community. The presentation outlined our initial design proposal and provided the local residents with a chance to be involved in the ongoing design process.
The primary function of the proposal is an educational facility, however other complimentary uses will be introduced to create an active building frontage and potentially fund part of the school’s build cost. Conversion and extension of the building will provide a 600 place secondary school with a 200 place 6th form, as well as a separate Metropolitan Police satellite station and additional residential units.
