Two residential blocks create a secret garden, hidden from the street.
Located in the London Borough of Ealing, this regeneration site lies close to both housing and commercial units, and adjacent to the Mill Hill Park conservation area.
The proposal sets out a scheme comprising two residential blocks with ground floor commercial units and a three-storey brick street frontage. Above which, the contemporary contrasting undulated form takes reference from the large number of pitched roofs and gable ends of the local context.
The two housing blocks which include affordable housing have private entries from the street through to the secret garden beyond of the shared amenity courtyard.
